1. Driving test changes.

2. Tell me questions.

Show me questions.

4. Pull up on the right and reverse.

As a professional driving instructor and ex Police Driver I would very strongly advise against this. Unfortunately it is on the new test from December 2017. Please ask your instructor for the many reasons why this can be so potentially dangerous and is best avoided. Highway code rule 239 states, If you have to stop on the roadside do not park facing against the traffic flow. And rule 248 states, You must not park on the road at night facing against the direction of the traffic flow unless in a recognised parking space. This manoeuvre is putting learners, examiners, instructors and other road users at risk, it should be removed from the test immediately BEFORE a serious incident occurs. We are now being told it is not a “park ” on the right ( so it does not go against the Highway code ) but it is to simulate picking somebody up or dropping them off on the right….!!!  Cant they be safely picked up or dropped off on the safe left side of the road, where they can open the door safely towards the pavement and not walk potentially dangerously into the road and open the door into the road…..

5. Bay parking.

6. Theory test.
